Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released a list of 36 landmark products for biomanufacturing (the first batch), including 18 in the food and related fields, including ethanol clostridia protein, aloulose, salidroside, vitamin B5, β - lactoglobulin, γ - polyglutamic acid, L-alanine, Fusarium graminearum protein, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, 2 '- fucosyllactose, yeast protein, etc., involving multiple fields such as food, feed and additives, natural product biosynthesis, bio based chemicals, and biopharmaceuticals.

1、 Hyaluronic acid in the beauty field: the "Hyaluronic acid synthase high-yield strain" independently developed now realizes "small/medium/large molecular weight production on demand" by regulating the fermentation carbon nitrogen ratio and dissolved oxygen amount, with a purity of 99.9%.

Aloulose: a naturally occurring zero calorie sweetener in wheat, with low traditional extraction efficiency; Now, through protein engineering modification of "D-alloulose-3-isomerase", the efficiency of glucose conversion has been improved, which can replace sucrose in sugar free foods and zero calorie beverages in the future.

Yeast protein: a protein extracted and fermented by yeast, used in food ingredients, etc. This product is produced through fermentation with an engineered strain of brewing yeast, which has good product purity and processing stability.

Ethanol Clostridium protein: a protein produced by microbial fermentation and extraction. Using carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other nutrients from industrial exhaust gas as microbial nutrients, produced through fermentation with ethanol producing bacteria, is a beneficial supplement to existing feed proteins.

Short stalked Fusarium protein: Produced through filamentous fungal fermentation without complex genetic modification, optimized corn syrup and glucose medium can accumulate 70% -75% protein in mycelial volume. 

It also contains β - glucan and can be processed into protein powder and plant-based meat products, with a taste similar to animal protein and no soy allergenicity.
